College Exposure

PRESS RELEASE from Michael T. White

INFORMATION RELEASE
Southern Starz affiliate with Michael T. White!

I am excited to announce our exclusive affiliation for the 2008 season with Michael T. White (www.michaeltwhite.com).  The Southern Starz will be the exclusive organization in the state of Alabama affiliated with MTW joining a number of other top AAU programs in the country.   Michael T. White (most recently with Adidas), with his marketing ability at the grassroots level, has brought national attention to girls’ basketball throughout the country.  College coaches flock to Michael T. White’s exposure events (such as the Deep South Classic in April 2008) because of the top flight teams and prospects he attracts.  White’s events offer outstanding competition in the finest facilities available along with quality officiating and superb game scheduling.  (See more info on the 2008 Deep South Classic at http://michaeltwhite.com/dscg).  Starz players will also participate individually in the Top 10 All-American Camps in Atlanta in July 2008 (see http://michaeltwhite.com/ttcg).

When college women’s basketball coaches discuss the top scouting services, it is a very short conversation that begins and ends with Michael T. White’s “All Star Girls’ Report” or ASGR (http://michaeltwhite.com/agr).  Since its inception in 1995, the ASGR has out-performed all rivals in the number of athletes rated and the accuracy of these ratings.  ASGR staff members also serve on the McDonald’s All-American Game selection committee, as well as the Parade All-American list.

Our partnership with Michael T. White will afford our Starz players national exposure at the highest level!  Scheduled events include the Deep South Classic on April 18-20, 2008 (North Carolina) for 13u to 17u, the Top 10 All-American Camp on July 6, 2008 (Atlanta), 17u Tournament of Champions on July 7-9, 2008 (Atlanta), Top 10 Underclassmen Camp on July 9, 2008, 16u Tournament of Champions on July 10-12, 2008 (Atlanta), Top 10 Freshmen Camp on July 12, 2008 (Atlanta), and 15u Tournament of Champions on July 13-15, 2008 (Atlanta), in addition to others.   Stay tuned for more exciting details …

With this relationship, our Southern Starz teams will also continue to participate in AAU competition as in the past!!
